Well everybody, what can i say, a great match for us all. A clearcut victory. We worked as a team for the whole match, and there was much improvemnent in the teamwork and skill levels in every individual and the whole unit.
GREAT WORK GUYS
In offense, heavy pushes from tehlord, Hero and myself allowed us to move in relatively unscathed, as many stickies and rockets battered the areas surrounding the control points. Also, the crafty sniping by Nightstalker, and masterful heavy'ing (lol) from Hugh allowed us to push up on the controlpoints to gain capture. Thalnx had us all in awe with his medic'ing, although we failed to protect him on a number of occasions. While our offensive clearly gained us captures, and therefore won us the match, i do not believe we were as good as we should have been, there were some definative weaknesses. The first stage was done perfectly, however, in the second and third, we did not protect Thalnax enough, and this led to a slower push.
In defence, the first map was laughable, lost in what??? a minute...hahahaha... But the moment nightstalker was engineer, and thalnax was medic, things just went KABLOOIE! We raped the absolute crap out of them, and defended the second point of the second stage for 13 minutes realatively untouched. My stickies hit the mark on the pyros and scouts while Hero and tehlord continued killing their medic, ending all hope for them of capping.
The minute the match ended, i knew who man of the match was goin to be awarded to..... Thalnax.
This guy can medic! And it was is his ubercharges, and his ability to hold uber's for lengthy periods of time whilst staying alive that ultimately allowed us to win the match. (not to mention a last second capture block against a scout and soldier with a bonesaw)
An honourable mention has to go to nightstalker, who has only been with the clan for a few days, and has only been playing team fortress for a few weeks. I believe he did very well as an engineer, and hope to see him in matches in the future. Good job mate.
To everyone, great effort.
Lots of gay man love
